For Children

Programs and services especially for children.

The George Public Library has the following children's programs available:

• Conservation Hour:  Each month during the school year we have Conservation Hour at the library.  The Lyon Co. Conservation Office presents the program each month.  
• Summer Reading Program:  The Summer Reading Program is a huge hit at the library.  The program runs through the month of June and is for children, 3 yrs. old - 4th grade. This year's theme is "Oceans of Possibilities!".  More information will be available soon.
• Storytime is held twice monthly for kids ages 2 yrs old-TK. 
• Special programs throughout the year.
